Campus Safety
The Campus Safety office patrols the campuses, responds to emergencies, reports and refers suspicious circumstances, maintains crime records and promotes crime prevention.
Emergency Response
Proctors are on-call 24/7 to respond to emergency situations and support students. Proctors are trained in crisis intervention, CPR, first aid, student support, conflict mediation, diversity and multiculturalism, event programming, fire safety and disaster preparedness. In addition, HMC has seven professional staff members that live on campus and respond to emergencies 24/7 to support the proctors.
Vehicle Registration
Campus Safety manages vehicle registration and enforces parking regulations. Registration for Harvey Mudd students is $30 per semester. Only sophomores, juniors, and seniors may have a car on campus. All cars on campus must be registered or they will be ticketed. Harvey Mudd College vehicle regulations may be found in the Student Handbook.
